This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

Drums & Saxophone Lessons

With over two decades worth of musical experiences that span from enlistments in both the Marine Corps and the Army National Guard, to performances with artist such as Beyonce, Esperanza Spaulding, Roy Hargrove, and many others, to teaching appointments at Rutgers University, Portland State University, and several tours abroad, I've created an incredibly efficient system for development that will not only save someone time, but ultimately a good deal of money and potentially missed opportunities in the long run (which is perfect for those who are vying to earn scholarship money from a college that offers a music program). So if you or someone you know is interested in either drum set or saxophone lessons, I am currently accepting students at the rate of $75 an hour.

"Thank you for the college recommendations and all the lessons the past four years. I've grown tremendously as a player and especially a thinker. Your teaching has sincerely been one of my greatest inspirations and I'm confident it has shaped my playing for the better."

-Ben Zweig (Drums, Manhattan School of Music, NYC, undergraduate class of 2015)
