This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

"Last Thursday" w/The Christopher Brown Quartet @ Solae's Lounge

  • Solae's Lounge 1801 NE Alberta St Portland, OR, 97211 United States (map)

Now that summer is upon us, we'll be kicking off the season by performing at Solae's Lounge for Portland's famed "Last Thursday" event over on Alberta St in the NE section of town. And if you've never experienced a "Last Thursday" of the month here in Portland, then you can expect to find yourself in the middle of an all out extravaganza that's akin to Mardi Gras on the famed Bourbon St in New Orleans. And right in the middle of it, you'll find us either outside for all to hear, or inside in the event of inclement weather.

John Nastos (Alto Sax/EWI)

Greg Goebel (Piano/Synth)

Dylan Sundstrom (Bass)

Christopher "TCOM" Brown (Drums)
