I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Quartet @ The 1905

  • The 1905 830 North Shaver Street Portland, OR, 97227 United States

With the untimely closing of Portland's most iconic Jazz club [Jimmy Mak's] on New Years Day, and the subsequent passing of its owner Jimmy the following day, newcomer The 1905 is now poised to make a name for itself as one of the preeminent destinations in Portland to hear great live Jazz music by some of its best musicians. And with this being an all ages establishment, this is the perfect opportunity for either those with kids, or simply youngsters in general, to attend.
