This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Quartet @ The Jazz Station

  • The Jazz Station 124 West Broadway Eugene, OR, 97401 United States (map)

While Portland has always been ground zero for live Jazz in Oregon, there have also been a few other locales that have long since made significant contributions to the overall Jazz scene here in Oregon, and Eugene happens to be one of them. So I'm proud to have been asked to close out the Portland Jazz series that The Jazz Station in Eugene has been hosting all year long, where they've been highlighting the talent of the larger city by bringing down those artists. So if you're in the Eugene area, or plan to be, then we'd certainly love to see you all there!
