This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

Christopher Brown Quartet @ The 1905

  • The 1905 830 N Shaver St Portland, OR 97227 United States (map)

If you thought the growth of this group was notable in 2017, you haven't seen ANYTHING yet!! So as we aim to spark a new type of cultural standard-of-excellence for the city of Portland, that's to be wholly understood through an artistic lens, there's no telling what the positive implications of such a paradigm shift could lend to the health of this city and state if such a shift is to in fact take place. So as we look forward to embarking upon such an audacious challenge, we want to encourage you all to stay tuned, engaged, and on board for the ride. So be sure to come through to The 1905 EVERY week to help make this venue the city's artistic "ground zero".
