This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Quartet @ Tavern on Kruse

  • Tavern on Kruse 4835 Meadows Road Lake Oswego, OR, 97035 United States (map)

All throughout 2020 Tavern on Kruse did more to preserve the physical presence and social visibility of Jazz in the greater Portland area than ANY other venue! And for that, the community owes the venue and its owner a strong debt of gratitude. And as the world continues to get further on the other side of this global tragedy, many people are looking for spaces to congregate as they celebrate the return of basic liberties that we once took for granted. So with that said, there’s no better place to come celebrate this new air of optimism than here at Tavern on Kruse, as we’ll be enhancing the whole experience with some of the best Jazz music and musicians in the world.
