Brown has gained a stellar reputation as one of the bright new talents on the scene, working with a who's who of Jazz artist.

This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Quartet

  • The Jazz Station 124 West Broadway Eugene, OR, 97401 United States (map)

Since my return to Portland in 2012, The Jazz Station has slowly become my home away from home when I’m not performing in Portland. As I get older, and deeper into music, the more I find myself exploring larger existential questions around music making and my personal reasons for continuing to make music. So for this performance, I’ll be exposing the audience to more of the intimate conversations that I have with myself and a small number of those closest to me (so as to give context for why my approach to music and leadership is what it is). In short, this will be a night of vulnerability, wisdom sharing, and music making of the highest order.

So get your tickets as soon as you can, because this will likely sell out several weeks ahead of time.

Ticket’s can be purchased here.
