Between the seven records he has out as a leader, as well as the numerous accolades he has received over the years—most notably the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award (3x’s), in addition to having been listed in the DownBeat Critics Polls within the Rising Star Arranger category— he holds a Bachelors in Jazz Composition from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and a Masters in Jazz Piano Performance from Queens College.
