This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

Third Angle "Decibel Series" feat. Christopher Brown

  • Decibel Sound & Drink 11380 Southeast 21st Avenue Milwaukie, OR, 97222 United States (map)

When I was 12 years old I made an emotional commitment to always be a value-add to the “life blood and preservation of Jazz music.” In other words, it was to become an evangelist for the culture of this music. And part of what that entails is learning how to translate the value of this music (and music in general) into a set of plug-and-play principles that can be easily understood by even the most musically illiterate among us.

So whether you’re someone who’s in search of more interesting ways to grow personally and/or professionally, this presentation—complete with anecdotal stories, recordings, live music, and audience participation—will give you some actionable ideas that can be implemented immediately to help you unlock more of your potential. So swing on over to Decibel Sound & Drink for a cozy happy-hour listening session with one of the sweetest sound systems in town, featuring yours truly, Christopher Brown.
