This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

The Christopher Brown Quartet "Pressure Cooker"

  • Broadway House 911 West Broadway Eugene, OR, 97402 United States (map)

While I enjoy the energy of large events, such as a music festival, I really enjoy the smaller settings of clubs, where the level of interaction between the performers and their audiences are higher. That said, it doesn’t get more intimate than when you’re in the exclusive environment of one’s home, as the transformative power of relationship building can’t be beat within this context. And so I encourage you to act now to reserve a space within the intimate setting of what has been dubbed the Broadway House in Eugene, OR.

"While most people will appreciate the efficiency of a pressure cooker, there are others who can also appreciate the science behind them as well. And as such, this idea of knowing how to skillfully apply the right amount of pressure to any song, so as to help create the perfect kind of ear food, is just one of the things that the Christopher Brown Quartet has become widely known for over the past decade throughout Oregon."

*Note: You’re invited to bring a food or beverage item for a potluck gathering with the band following the performance. Also, while masks and pro-vaccination statuses are encouraged, they’re not mandatory.
