This quartet is so amazing on so many different levels...go see 'em whilst they still exist in PDX. I really think this one could go a long way in the Jazz world!

He is a uniquely talented performer and educator, and a man in whom I trust and for whom I hold great admiration.

I used him almost exclusively in my band when he used to reside in the NYC area, as he always brought so much knowledge and artistry to the music. And combined with his multi-instrumentalist abilities, Chris Brown is a unique talent that's not often found.

Father's Day Jazz Legacy w/Christopher & Mel Brown

  • The 1905 830 North Shaver Street Portland, OR, 97227 United States (map)

This performance is one that has been casually discussed in the past, but has never come to fruition until now. And the circumstances couldn’t be any better, as I’ve always wanted to hear my father perform with my band. So after years of sitting in or filling in with his groups, I’m finally able to return the favor. So needless to say, this father’s day performance will be one for the books!

With that said, we invite you to join us at not only the place we call home, but the home of Jazz & Jazz adjacent for both the city of Portland and the state of Oregon. So grab your friends and your tickets and join us for the perfect mid-week outing, where you’ll find other sonically sophisticated and culturally curious patrons. As far as Jazz clubs go in Portland, you won’t find a more authentic and intimate setting to experience some of the greatest world-class music up close and personal.
